| Description | Dry, hilarious and gloriously absurd, A Serious Man takes viewers back to the Coen brothers’ home turf of Minnesota. It’s 1967 and Larry Gopnik wants to be taken seriously. His children steal from him, his wife pesters him for a divorce, his brother has annexed his couch and the family bathroom, and a disgruntled student threatens to sabotage his reputation as he goes up for tenure at his college.
